Win8 BSOD New Computer Set up

  1. #21

I ran Harddrive full test and it passed.

I can't seem to find any updates on the drivers you mentioned above. All I know is Speedfan is unninstalled and that windows defender driver is no longer on the "SF tool" driver's list neither the speedfan one.

Another crash just playing a game:

    Attachment 19513

I read a guy in a forum that had the same issue - And someone told him that 1.056 V on the CPU is low. Mine is about that too, is that causing the problem ?

    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

I'd check in the hardware forums for answers to those questions: Drivers & Hardware - Windows 8 Forums

I posted in that section you mentioned.

Is it possible that my CPU passes all the tests and is still faulty ?

I contacted the store where I bought everything but the CPU and the Case. They seemed nice about these problems and from what I was told it is not very uncommon to have motherboard issues. I guess I have to send them the set up. One thing, can you track what made this last crash happen?

Still looks like hardware to me. I'd let them troubleshoot the motherboard issue for you. Depending on the shop, they may either run more tests - or may just replace the motherboard in order to save time.

An advice for all of you that come across this post: If you are planning to buy a low budget PC... Don't buy a low budget power supply, sooner or later you WILL have problems with it.
