I have been getting many failures in a Win8x64 system:

I am attaching the associated dmp files. They seem to vary. I have not seen the usb driver that many have attributed to the bad pool caller error.

This was an upgrade from Win7x64 Ultra.

Any help is greatly appreciated as it is annoying want to use the system and have to wait for files to upload to Microsoft after recovering from a failure.

Hi... your mini-dumps appear to be pointing to IDSvia64.sys & SRTSP64.SYS. These driver files belong to Norton, please un-install Norton for testing purposes via the Control Panel/Uninstall first and then use the Norton removal tool to remove every trace: |MG| Norton Removal Tool 20.0.0.21 Download

Please use the built-in Windows 8 64bit version of Defender for testing purposes.

Your mini-dumps are also complaining about the driver file: nvlddmkm.sys which belongs to your nvidia display drivers. Please un-install the version you have on there at the moment and re-install the latest Windows 8 64bit versions of the file: AMD Driver Autodetect

You also have a number of out-of-date drivers/programs on your system you should either un-install or update to Windows 64 bit versions if needed:

nvstor.sys (2011) - nVidia Storage Drivers: Driver Reference Table
nvmf6264.sys (2011) - nVidia nForce network driver: Driver Reference Table
agnfilt.sys (2010) - AT&T Global Network Client Firewall driver: Driver Reference Table
ltpwrflt.sys, ltpFiltr.sys (2009) - Thinkpad USB keyboard with trackpoint: Driver Reference Table
nvcwfpco.sys (2008) - Nortel Networks WFP Callout Driver: Driver Reference Table
nvBridge.kmd (2011) - Nvidia Windows Kernel Mode Driver: nvbridge.kmd - What is this?

Your BIOS is also very old (2007), you might want to consider updating that to if possible, but please follow all manufacturers as any errors could lead to your system becoming in-operable.

-cheers
