Hi,

importance:
i Need My Data and their's Very Important Data on my hdd
i don't have any restore point!

Here's the Drama:
i just shutdown my pc after hours of hard work! so when i came back to run it something very frustrating happened possibly for no reason!:

Here We Go MICROSOFT WINDOWS 8 :
:(
Your pc ran into a problem and needs to restart, we're just collecting some error info and then we'll restart for you (100% complete) // it doesn't even restart!
if you'd like to know more, you can search online later for this error: 0xc0000218

Now here's the thing:
Automatic repair can't fix the problem.
Refresh Your PC Without Affecting Your Files NOT WORKING
(There was a problem refreshing your PC No changes were made)

i need to log in to my desktop just one more time to get my data then it's ok if the sky falls! NEED MY DATA ... and i am freaking out!

Searched online for error code 0xc0000218 found out it's related to a registry problem/corruption.
Found some solutions about fixing registry ONLY FOR WINDOWS XP and i don't want to follow something that is old and outdated and may break things further.

so please post any solution that won't cause data loss, i am okay with doing cmd!

I would strongly suggest using either the Ultimate Boot CD or a Live Linux distro to copy the files off your hard drive onto an external drive. There's no telling what repairs will be required, so it's best to backup everything now.

Or, you can get a drive caddy from a local store (Radio Shack/BestBuy in the USA) and slave the hard drive to another computer to recover your data.

After that........
The error is:
STATUS_CANNOT_LOAD_REGISTRY_FILE ((NTSTATUS)0xC0000218
So, if you don't have a system restore point you can:
- check your hard drive to see if there are any other recent registry backups that can be used
- attempt a repair install of Windows8:
https://www.google.com/search?q=windows+8+repair+install (I've never done it myself)
- wipe the hard drive and start over.

Run these hardware diagnostics before starting the repairs: Initial Hardware Diagnostics
