Hi guys!
I'm new at this forum so bare with me, i really need your help.
Iv'e had a couple of hundred bsods during a timeframe of a year or so, but i still haven't found out a solution to solve them. Iv'e tried to locate what's making all the bsods and the conclusion is the following:
Atapi.sys
hal.dll
ntoskrnl.exe
Earlier i had windows 7 ultimate but i just recently changed to windows 8 pro. Iv'e also changed gpu and ssd drive just recently...
Iv'e attached the complete zip as requested and i'm hoping that you guys can stretch this out a bit for me.
If there's anything i can do to make things easier just tell me and i'll try the best i can.
All BSOD's indicated atapi.sys was the cause. You might have a corrupted atapi.sys, please open elevated command prompt and run sfc /scannow to check if it is corrupted. If it does not find the error then your CD/DVD or Cable might be defective.
After a couple of days the problems have not been solved. They seem to recur even more now. It's the same files/drivers like before and a couple of more files have been added as well.
I'm posting all the files in a zip again to see if you could be so kind and try to help me once again.
It would mean alot if one of you guys could help me.
Your recent BSOD's dated 3/12 indicated new problem with memory corruption. Open the case and make sure that all memory sticks are seated firmly and download Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool , burn it to CD/USB then run the memory diagnostic, preferably over night.
And while the case is opened. Double check the CD/DVD cable or if you have another cable then replace it.
Please understand the BSOD crash dumps only give you a glue what may be the problem with your PC. It does not tell you exactly what's wrong so we have to try different things to isolate the problem. Memory diagnostic test sometimes fails to detect all the errors in the first few passes so you just have to be patient. There are a lot of variables that we don't know when doing online troubleshooting such as what applications you've installed in your PC, what kind of hardware you have etc...
I'm happy for all the help that i can get, don't get me wrong i really aprreciate that kind people like yourself are putting in some effort to help me.
I'm aware that it's nearly impossible to point at the exact problem, that's why i'm open to all suggestions.
I will try all that's thrown at me until the promlems cease.
