Hi!!

So, I just got a new Toshiba Satellite C855D-S5303 about 4 months ago. A couple of days ago, it just randomly started crashing and I got the BSOD each time with the message SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. I have noo Idea why this is happening, this laptop is fairly new. Sometimes I'll have the BSOD a few times a day, and sometimes it will happen every other day. Please help! I have no idea what to do. I've followed the instructions on how to collect the dump files and I've attached the zip folder I made using the SF Diagnostic tool. I had to run it a couple of times because I didn't run it as administrator from the very beginning.
Thank you for everything! If you need anymore information let me know!

Only 235 MB of free memory - please add memory (RAM) to your system. While waiting to add memory, please only run one program at a time - and use the Startup Tab in Task Manager to trim the items that are starting when your system boots up.

The uploaded reports aren't complete. Please re-run the SF Diagnostic tool again - and let it run for at least 15 minutes (or until it says it's done).

Please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Alright! I ran the SF Diagnostic Tool again and let it finish completely this time! I've attached the results. I haven't had time to run Driver Verifier yet because I need to find a disk in order create a Recovery Disk first. But, I will do that sometime today and get back to you as soon as possible!

I followed the instructions and ran Driver Verifier this morning! I left my laptop on for the entire day and absolutely nothing had happened. So I went back to read the Driver Verifier instructions. And it said that if I knew what possibly causes the crash, then I should do that. I know that the BSOD crash only happens when I would try to watch shows on sites like letmewatchthis.ch or motionempire.com on Google Chrome, places where they give you a bunch of other links to go stream the video and watch it and they usually have a ton of pop ups and advertisements. I watch it on Google Chrome because that's just what I've always used. I never use internet explorer because it usually lags, but I've read in some places that Google Chrome isn't compatible with Microsoft things. So I went ahead and started watching a show on one of the sites on Google Chrome again, and about 30 mins into trying to find the right version, my computer crashed. It was the normal BSOD that told me to search up SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. After the crash I was able to see the files that caused the crash (according to what my computer told me). The files where:

C:\Windows\Minidump\030813-39936-01.dmp
C:\Users\Ashley\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-75020-0.sysdata.xml
C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP

I wrote down those files and searched them up on my computer. I found the Minidump file and the MEMORY file and put them in a zipped folder. I'll attach that. I found the Local Temp file in the compressed folder (Aebwe) I made from the SF Diagnostic tool; it is in the EventApp notepad file. I was also able to find a DriverList when I searched up for the verifier. I don't know if the list was provided by the Driver Verifier but if you need that as well, let me know!

I've attached the folder from the SF Diagnostic Tool that I ran completely! (Aebwe)
and I've attached the files I was able to find after the Driver Verifier bsod crash (MEMORY)

I've had this issue, the only way to resolve it seems is to uninstall the windows updates, and report this to microsoft (do the updates one at a time to see what one causes it) and they could update windows to remove this issue.

Well today, I used google chrome for about 10 minutes and it had the bsod crash again, so I'm not really sure if maybe now its just using that browser that causes it. But, how can I uninstall the windows updates, and how do I know which ones to uninstall??

The MEMORY.dmp file is only a shortcut - not the actual file.
Please zip up the MEMORY.dmp file itself and upload it to a free file hosting service.
Then post a link here so we can have a look at it.

FYI - the new minidump file appears corrupted, so we have to see what's in the MEMORY.dmp file to try and fix this.

I did see an error with Fast Startup in the event viewer. Please turn it off to see if that helps: http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/6320-fast-startup-turn-off-windows-8-a.html

Everytime I tried to open the Memory.dmp file, I wasn't able to see it. I was denied access to open it, or I got a pop up saying I had to contact the admistrator or the owner. I'm not sure. So I had to send it to the desktop, and zip it up and then upload it. I posted the link below. I also turned off Fast Startup according to the directions.

This still isn't the MEMORY.dmp file - it's only a copy of a shortcut to it.

Run Driver Verifier again - and let it crash the system 3 or 4 times (or more).
Then run the data collection tool again and see if we can get some more memory dumps that have good minidump files in them.

You have very little memory available (only 548 MB available). I'd suggest getting more RAM. While waiting for the RAM, please only use one program at a time, and use the Startup tab in Task Manager to trim down your startup items.

I ran Driver Verifier again and my computer didn't crash, not once! Even when I kept using Google Chrome. So I'm not sure why that happened. And I can't get more RAM right now, but I'll try to get more RAM later on in the future.

Try the steps from this:
Upload Dump Files:
NOTE: If using a disk cleaning utility, please stop using it while we are troubleshooting your issues.
Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and zip up the contents of the folder. Then upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Left click on the first minidump file.
Hold down the "Shift" key and left click on the last minidump file.
Right click on the blue highlighted area and select "Send to"
Select "Compressed (zipped) folder" and note where the folder is saved.
Upload that .zip file with your next post.

If you have issues with "Access Denied" errors, try copying the files to your desktop and zipping them up from there. If it still won't let you zip them up, post back for further advice.

If you don't have anything in that folder, please check in C:\Windows for a file named MEMORY.DMP. If you find it, zip it up and upload it to a free file hosting service. Then post the link to it in your topic so that we can download it.

Also, search your entire hard drive for files ending in .dmp, .mdmp, and .hdmp. Zip up any that you find and upload them with your next post.

Then, follow the directions here to set your system for Minidumps (much smaller than the MEMORY.DMP file): Set MiniDumpMore info on dump file options here: Overview of memory dump file options for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2

Also, zip up the contents of C:\Windows\Minidump and upload that with your next post.
