BSODs mostly when browsing with Chrome, since that is what I do mostly, this time when trying to work out what touchpad gestures I could use consistently, since the touchpad seems to have a mind of its own sometimes.

HP Compaq Presario CQ57 (AMD E-300 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 1.30 GHz) purchased 08/2012 with W7 home premium x64, Windows 8 Pro x64 (4GB RAM) with Media Center Upgrade - installed Nov 2012 - no BSODs until Jan 11 2013

No 3rd party AV or Firewall etc Windows Defender only

1 unknown device in Device Manager ACPI\VEN_HPQ&DEV_6001 - "HP wireless button driver" ??

There are reports missing from the upload. Please rerun the data collection app again and let it run for at least 15 minutes (or until it tells you that it's done).

Your BIOS dates from 2011. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

dokan.sys and vmm.sys both bear Microsoft (c) in their properties - may be part of Windows phone SDK - tried to uninstall, and BSOD halfway through. Now only 3.82GB remain instead of 7.xGB of the SDK.
BIOS same date/version as HP download latest for this laptop.
Realtek ethernet successfully updated from Realtek site.
SynTP.SYS same as HP download most recent, fails to install the driver package from the Synaptics site.
Driver verifier immediately crashes on reboot., but safe mode can be used to delete the verifier settings. 2 non-verifier BSODS yesterday.

2 of the 3 memory dumps are Driver Verifier enabled dumps and both blame SynTP.sys - a driver component for your Synaptics TouchPad. Please:
- download a fresh copy of the latest, Win8 compatible drivers from: Drivers | Synaptics
- uninstall the current Touchpad drivers from the system
- install the freshly downloaded drivers
- monitor for further BSOD's
NOTE: these drivers may not have all the features that the drivers from the PC manufacturer have. If you're missing something that you need, feel free to uninstall these drivers (after testing for BSOD's) and install a fresh set from the PC manufacturer's website.

vmm.sys is likely a Microsoft driver - belonging to a virtual PC program. Please uninstall it - as I recall these programs aren't compatible with Win8 (you'll have to use the Hyper-V Manager for VM's in Win8). FYI - I have Hyper-V installed on my system and don't have the vmm.sys driver. If you can't figure this one out, I'd just let it be for now.

A web search for dokan.sys is a bit confusing. I'd have to wonder if it's associated with the Windows Phone SDK. Have you tried uninstalling it to see if that helps the system's stability?

Otherwise, we'll just wait and see if the Touchpad drivers have fixed your problems.
Good luck!
