BSOD System Service Exception when using internet

For the past few days I've been getting the BSOD when I'm using the internet. It doesn't matter what browser I'm using, because I've tested Chrome, Firefox, and Opera and received frequent crashes on all three. Usually I'll get around 2 to 5 crashes every day and I have no idea why. Every single time it happens it says "System_Service_Exception" as the error, and when I check WhoCrashed it tells me ntoskrnl.exe was the cause almost every time, with a few times it being win32k.sys or usbhub.sys. Please, any help would be appreciated.

My Computer

System One

  • OS
    Windows 8
I saw signs of HotSpotShield in the WER section of MSINFO32. Please uninstall it, it is known to cause BSOD's in Windows systems.

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions). I strongly suspect that this hold true for Win8 systems also.
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): [DEL] DuplexSecure - FAQ [/DEL] Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012
New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
Alternate link: Disc-Tools.com
Manual procedure here: Registry and SPTD problems | DAEMON Pro Help

Riva Tuner (along with MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision) are known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems. Please uninstall it immediately!

WinRing0x64.sys is associated with many different programs that center around the using of the WinRing libraries (RealTemp, Corsair Link2 (known BSOD issues w/Win8), Razer GameBooster, etc) Please uninstall this also.

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

PxHlpa64.sys Wed Oct 18 13:34:14 2006 (45366596)
Sonic CD/DVD driver (used by many different CD/DVD programs)
http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=PxHlpa64.sys

CLVirtualDrive.sys Mon Dec 26 08:26:47 2011 (4EF87617)
CyberLink Virtual Device Driver
http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=CLVirtualDrive.sys

If all of this doesn't fix things, try these 2 things:

1) Download a fresh set of wireless drivers, uninstall the current wireless drivers, install the freshly downloaded drivers, monitor for further BSOD's.

2) If that doesn't work, then run Driver Verifier according to these directions: Driver Verifier Settings
