I recently bought a HP dm1, with windows 8 -64 preinstalled. After I only installed MS Office (from an external USB DVD-drive which I temporarily connected) I couldn't believe my eyes when a BSOD error occurred. I donwloaded all updates for windows and office, but that didn't help: still several BSOD's a day.
I have checked several drivers on the HP website, but found nothing which isn't up-to-date on my computer.
Then I started verifier and worked a few days with it - annoyingly slow, but: no BSOD's. After stopping verifier, the first crash occurred within minutes..
So I conclude this is not a hardware problem. Or is that conclusion not justified? Anyway, I include the zip-file with details as prescribed here. Hope someone can help me.
