Solved BSOD on every startup (not on restart)

Hi everyone.

I'm sitting on a brand new Dell desktop running Windows 8. On every start-up I get a DPC_watchdog_violation error, then it restarts and everything is fine. If I manually restart the PC it runs smoothly - if I choose "Shut Down", wait for 15 seconds and then start the PC again, I get the BSOD again. Any ideas?

I have attached a zip containing three minidumps I "created" today while I tried to figure out what causes this problem.

Besides the BSOD on start up, the PC runs nice and without any problems.

*EDIT* Just spottet the "Before posting a BSOD thread, please read..." I've attached the correct zip now.

The dump files indicated MAudioProFire.sys which is a driver for your M-Audio Profire. In your driver list:

MADFUAXIOMPR Service for M-Audio Ax Kernel 21/05/2011 04:25:22
MAFWPROFIRE Service for M-Audio Pr Kernel 02/03/2010 02:14:15
MAUSBAXIOMPR Service for M-Audio Ax Kernel 21/05/2011 04:25:29

These drivers are dated back in 2010, 2011. Please download and update these drivers from the manufacturer.

In addition, there's some talks about IRQ conflict, you might want to read:

I should have known. I've had nothing but trouble with my M-audio products (I also have an M-audio AxioPro 49 midi keyboard) and there are no(!) dedicated Windows 8 drivers available for those products. Thanks for your help with this. I'll check out that thread and see where it leads me.

Btw. today I didn't get the BSOD for the first time in two weeks or so. I have no idea why it didn't crash. I've tried to shut it down and start it up again, but no BSOD for me. I tink I'll just leave it be then. If the BSOD returns I'll look into the M-audio drivers though (and perhps if I'm lucky they will even have released Windows 8 drives by that time).
