Hi all,

I have just reinstalled my computer from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 8 Pro and since then I have faced BSOD during 2 cases:

1) When I plugged in my wireless mouse adapter (sometimes)
2) When I plug in a new display monitor and tries to switch to it.

I have attached the BSOD for the most recent crash. Thank you very much in advance for helping me! :D

Regards

EDIT: I have tried to update my USB drivers, but problem still exists

All your dump files indicated that a driver called NMgamingms.sys is at fault. Either it is damaged or infected by virus.
Open Elevated Command Prompt and type sfc /scannow to see if windows can fix this problem.

Hi topgundcp,

Thanks a lot for your help :D I have ran the programme and attached is the log. I will continue to monitor the progress to check whether the problem has been solved.

Just fyi, I ran a full system scan using Norton 360 just yesterday, so I am not sure whether that will eliminate the possibility of it being infected with virus.

Thank you very much :D

Doesn't work =\ I tried to reinstall nmgamingms.sys with compatibility with XP (SP2) and it doesn't work as well. Quite desperate now LOL.

Thanks a lot though :D

For the time being, Please uninstall Norton while we try to fix the problem. Anti virus software are known to cause problem with compatibility.
Your CBS.log indicated you have quite a few corrupted files and Windows did tried to fix them, my question is: was the fix successful ?
Sometimes you need to run sfc /scannow a few times until you get a message: Windows did not find any integrity violation.

The CBS.log file is a big file with a lot of lines so copy it to c:\ then open the elevated command prompt and run the following to filter the corrupted files that Windows found:

findstr /c:"Repairing corrupted file " c:\cbs.txt > out.txt

You get a new file called out.txt, open it with notepad then you can see all the corrupted files that Windows tried to fix.

Until we get these corrupted files fixed, it is hard to tell if nmgamingms.sys is really the cause as indicated in the dump file. Dump file is really give you a glue where the problem might be, it does not tell you the actual problem.

Please report back.
