My system was updated to Windows 8 From XP early in January however recently (the past week or so) I have been getting bsod 's. The media players we have tried always eventually go bsod. Windows media player 11 and GOM player. This suggests to me an audio issue with a driver etc. I have checked and seem to have up to date drivers. Any suggestions ? I have included the SF dump files.

Your BIOS dates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

Video camera doesn't have drivers installed. Please physically remove this device from your system - or install it's drivers.

ASACPI.sys dates from 2004 and is a known BSOD cause on some Asus mobo's. Please update to the latest version available (2009). It's the Asus ATK0110 ACPI Utility driver. It's available under the Utility downloads section for your motherboard (select Windows7 64 bit for the OS). It's named "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Win7 32&64-bit"
Install using compatibility mode for Windows 7

Update or remove Razer Game Booster - the WinRing libraries are outdated (they date from 2008)

Update or remove SmartDefrag from your system - it's drivers date from 2010

Update your Realtek 8101E/8168/8169 NDIS 6.30 32-bit Driver - it dates from 2011.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
