Open CMD as administrator, type in "sfc /scannow" and let it be. I can't read kernel errors, so I'm sure someone else could help you out.

It said its most likely a memory corruption, try running memtest86+

To ensure that everything is fixed, you need to run sfc /scannow again. Sometimes sfc cannot fix all the corrupted files in one pass.
A complete fix will give you a message: Windows did not find any integrity violation.

Yes, it just give you the info what files are being repaired. However, this file is not very important and does not tell you what caused the problem.

Since it already fixed all the corrupted files, you should be OK but if it ever happens with BSOD again, you need to upload the dmp files which would help to identify the problem. For example: a bad spot on your HD, bad memory stick etc... that would cause the files to be corrupted.

Below is what shown in the dump:

* Bugcheck Analysis *

*******************************************************************************

CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION (109)
This bugcheck is generated when the kernel detects that critical kernel code or
data have been corrupted. There are generally three causes for a corruption:
1) A driver has inadvertently or deliberately modified critical kernel code
or data. See Patching Policy for x64-Based Systems
2) A developer attempted to set a normal kernel breakpoint using a kernel
debugger that was not attached when the system was booted. Normal breakpoints,
"bp", can only be set if the debugger is attached at boot time. Hardware
breakpoints, "ba", can be set at any time.
3) A hardware corruption occurred, e.g. failing RAM holding kernel code or data.

The dump only gives you some glue where the problem might be. Sometimes it gives you more details.
as indicated above, it could be a bad memory stick so you might want to run memory diagnostic to make sure your RAM is OK.

Windows has a tool for memory diagnostic but not a good one.
Download memory86+ from this site, burn to a CD then boot up your PC with it:
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

I have set my ram back to default now, before it was oc with the profile given for my ram to 8-8-8-24. my ram has always been fine with windows 7. so im not sure why it would start playing up with windows 8. but now I have put it to defaults at 9-9-9-24

Yeah, be careful when you set your RAM to tighter timing, you probably need to raise the voltage a little bit.

Well the oc profile that came with the ram raised everything it needed to even the volts. I have been using the ram fine on windows 7. I just dont know why windows 8 would be different for the ram.

If I wanted to go back to windows 7 anytime do I just reinstall it?

You would need to reinstall using a disk or the program.

If it is a custom built, you would need to get the disk or software and install windows 7.
If you are using a prebuilt, you need to contact the manufacturer.
