So these have carried over from an OLD windows7 build and im about at the end of my troubleshooting knowledge but for proper help im willing to go back to square 1. I haven't got any of the drivers off my mobo manufacturers site on account of them all being VERY slow ftp servers so everything's as windows has set it.

I haven't found what exactly sets them off but they happen when im doing more than a few things so im always distracted.

I just tried to play minecraft(trying to trigger it again) and got ingame and then JVM stopped working, not sure if its related or not.

Your mini-dumps are not pointing to any driver in particular that I can see. I have found some drivers which you should consider updating to Windows 8 64bit versions or un-installing/removing if not needed:

k57nd60a.sys - Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet NDIS6.x Unified Driver: Driver Reference Table
iaStorV.sys - Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver (base) (now is the Rapid Storage Technology (RST) driver): http://www.carrona.org/drivers/search.php?id=iaStorV.sys

Please update these drivers (anything Intel related and the Broadcom Lan Driver), plus anything else you feel should be updated using your manufacturers wesbite:

ASRock > Z77E-ITX

Please make sure you have all the Windows 8 Updates until you can install no more.

I cant get into windows long enough to update much, both those drivers you suggested are updated.

There was another 4+ BSOD if you want those dumps
