I've been having some blue screens that occur infrequently and I thought it would be nice for them to stop.

I noticed you have WinPcap installed, this is not compatible with Windows 8, please un-install it:

npf.sys - NetGroup Packet Filter Driver, part of the WinPcap packet capture library: Driver Reference Table

I noticed your BIOS version is 0803 but the latest is 1101 please update this as a last resort, if you do decide to do so please follow all manufacturers precautions as any error may render your system in-operable.

Please update any drivers you can to Windows 8 64bit versions by visiting your manufacturers website, particularly chipset, sata and LAN drivers as well as the Hotfix if you have not already done so:

ASUS - Motherboards- ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0

Please make sure you have all the latest Windows 8 updates until you can install no more.

*Update* Sorry I did forget something in my post, please update your graphics drivers as well. In order to do so please un-install your catalyst drivers using control/panel un-install a program first. Then download Driver Fusion to get rid of any remaining entries (AMD Display), you have to use this software twice or more to get rid of everything when using the trial version:

Driver Fusion - The Complete Driver Solution

Then please install the latest drivers for your graphics card:

AMD Driver Autodetect

-cheers
