Hi everybody,
happy new year! and to start things off I have I fresh problem!
I thought about giving windows 8 a go on my new build system, and having installed the Intel RSTe raid drivers and all the other latest versions of drivers I could find, it is giving me BSOD's every hour, especially when idle.
When I'm active on the PC it crashes less and more random, but being idle, it crashes on an hourly basis, almost every 60 minutes. It seems related to the storport.sys driver and probably Intel's as well, but it looks like some kind of process is kicked off after 60min no user response.
I also tried disabling every component on the motherboard as SATA controllers, Firewire controllers that are not used etc. , all to no avail....
So, as a last resort I switched on verifier.exe and minidumps so I hope you guys can help me further analyze this issue.
Many Thanks, Dennis
