Hello all, I have been running Windows 8 for about a week and im now getting a BSOD crash with a error message of memory management error. It's a fairly new pc, i7 processor, 6gb ram and i've never really had problems before. Attached diag file.
Any help greatly received.
Regards
Nick

hello
Today I also got problems. It started with Windows shutting down and showing a text mentioning Memory_Management.
I went in the action center and the section Maintenance showed a problem with the SSD where I have the system. I also saw in Microsoft 2010 Outlook that some mails did not show anything and Office went into repair mode. I ran the Maintenance repair for the SSD.
This went like that on and off. I did not keep records, so I cannot show the exact warnings.
Later in the day, Defender gave a message that a virus was removed.
TrojanDropper:Win32/small.gen
I also had problems with Windows Update.
Now everything seems to be stabilized. The trojandropper is put in quarantine by Defender. Mails are OK again. Windows Update working again.
I don't have more specifics.
What was that?

CORRECTION: I got the shutdown with the warning Memory_Management again. I saw there are BSOD instructions. Will try to post next time the problem shows again.
Got a shutdown again, now with a message system_service_exception.
After restart, the Action Center shows a warning that firewall is turned off.

nickyc: sorry. I did not want to hijack your thread. But my original problems with memory_management got worse.

This device doesn't have drivers installed:
Not Available USB\VID_131D&PID_0155\5&1CAA961E&0&2 The drivers for this device are not installed.
This is most likely your Natural Point TrackIR v5 software. Please uninstall it and then reinstall a fresh, Win8 compatible version. If there are no Win8 versions, then please uninstall the software and physically remove the device from your system.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
