Hello, I get these random Lock ups in Windows 8 which follows IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL BSOD.
I checked my memory, I checked my hard disk for errors. Alot of people point to drivers, because windows 8 is relatively new. But I haven't had any hick ups with any of my drivers. My Anti-virus is Eset Smart Security 5, if anyone can find any correlation between my Anti-virus and the cause of this BSOD its very annoying and random. So yes it catches me by surprise.

in Event viewer I get this each time it has happened as a Critical error.

    Log Name: System

The files indicate memory corruption. Use memtest from hcidesign. Also use memtest86. You can rest if both ran overnight without issues.

Next, run driver verifier on the non-microsoft drivers without the low resource simulation. Keep that running for three days.

    Keep posting minidumps.

As of right now, I can not do any of thee above. This morning when i woke up I had PSU failure. And my pc will not boot. I'm out of a job so I really can't purchase a psu just yet. So I have no deadline on when I will be able to get my new psu, To attempt what has been suggested. But i do appreciate your help and advice.

Okay I am back in action. Thanks for your replies. I have not yet had a BSOD. But if I do, I will attempt your advice. Maybe it was happening due to faulty PSU. Because now with new PSU and higher wattage I am running stable and smoothly. Windows 8.
