irql_not_less_or_equal boot loop

Hi im stuck in a boot loop with the bsod irql not less or equal after changing my boot to a diagnosis mode now windows 8 wont even load up and I can't get the recovery screen up with f8 can this be fixed by using command in grub slice loader please help

I can't get the recovery screen up at all it just keeps trying to load after it crashes with irql not less or equal have tried pressing shift an f8 also tried holding shift an f8 neither works is there any other way to get into recovery mode

Ok finally got the f8 key to do something its now being half hour an its still on the screen with the 4 blue windows with the little dots spinning round do i leave it to see what happens or try an load up again any suggestions

Use your installation media and run the repairs from there.

Other options:
If you have another W8 machine with the same 32/64bit OS.

Once you're in, Run Automatic Repair at least three times.

How much RAM do you have installed?
Remove all but one RAM card, try to boot. Don't know if it will work but, it's worth a try.

Got 4gb 2x2gb have managed to get a copy of windows 7 of my friend so running a diagnostic see if that finds any problems if that dont work will try removing 2gb an if that dont work ill install windows 7 then fresh install windows 8 hope it dont come to that tho :/

Automatic repair will fix the boot files among other things, you need to use the W8 install media.
