I have been to the device manager on my system, gone thru every single driver, everything responds saying that it is up to date. Still crashing 4 or more times per day, sometimes twice in a few minutes time. Is there anything I can do other than paying to have windows 8 removed and reinstall Windows 7. This is my worst ever experience with a computer upgrade and I cannot believe that Microsoft could have released this and feel good about it.

    Please upgrade iastor anyway:
Station-Drivers: le site de drivers, bios, firmwares avec un forum d'aide
    Rapid Storage Technology (RST)
    drivers + patch

Please also upgrade your ssd firmware, if you have one and you are comfortable with upgrading it.

To find your curent version of the Intel RST driver:
    Open 'Device manager'
    Expand 'IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers'
Look for 'Intel(R) 5 Series/3400...' or similar Intel listing
Right click it and select 'Properties'
    Click 'Drivers' tab
    Look for 'Driver Version:'
    Post the version number here.

If it is a lower version than, go to this link.
Click on this Intel Link: Intel® Rapid Storage Technology
Download the 'File name: iata_enu.exe Version:
Download to a convenient place, that will be easy to find.

    To install the new driver:
To install Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology,
    double-click on the self-extracting and self-installing
setup file and answer all prompts presented.
    Close all programs.
Just double click the file, answer the prompts, re-boot when requested and it will install.

When looking for driver problems in Device Manager, look for small '?'.
