Windows 8 PC - Tablet - Phone email sync

I currently have an android phone and use gsyncit to sync my tasks and calendar with Google calendar and tasks. I then have gmail pulling emails and leaving them on my web site host's email server via POP3. This works fairly well but is the email part is kind of clumsy and I can spend lots of time sorting emails in gmail that are already all sorted on my PC's outlook.

My dream is to have a mini-outlook on a Windows 8 phone and Windows 8 tablet that stays in sync with my Outlook on my PC (and vise versa) via the skydrive cloud service - no more messing with re-filtering email, deleting garbage emails I already deleted on my PC. Things on my new W8 phone and tablet would mirror my PC right down to the filtering rules and folders.

The hub of most of my work is currently Outlook 2007. My thinking is the new Windows 8 phone and tablet with Outlook 2013 and Windows 8 PC would give me super productivity no matter where I am at and what device I am using.

I have been doing a lot of reading on Office 15/Windows 8 and understand it syncs documents across devices but I can't find much about simple, automatic email sync.

So I guess my question is, will there be a common Win8 Outlook app that will allow my to keep in sync across Win8 devices or will I still be stuck in my sync hodgepodge world of Outlook syncing on outlook.com instead of gmail?

Hopefully MS will shed some light on Outlook integration during the Windows 8 Phone event on Wednesday. I can't seem to find anything online about this. If there is no cross device Outlook integration with auto syncing, the only plus to a windows 8 phone would be Zune Pass integration. I love Zune pass.

Unfortunately there looks to be no real-time MS Outlook syncing/integration. Zune Pass is now Xbox music and who knows what changes that will bring - it does not look like it will work with my person collection of music like Zune Pass does at my desktop - I was hoping Zune pass on my phone would work with my music on an MS cloud - that would be real cool.

For now, I'll probably upgrade my EVO to the Note2 or Galaxy s3 and get Spotify and continue to access my music stored on Google Music to replace Zune Pass. I'll revisit the Windows 8 phone in 2 years when my next phone contract is up and Win 8 phone been review to death and upgraded a few times.

Thanks for the help everyone!

Not sure if anyone else is with you on that one.

I have no need or use for any of the things you describe.

Hope it works out for you, though.

No outlook sync and no Zune Pass sync. We are left with Document sync but how many are going to work on a spreadsheet, PP, or word doc on a phone something that already can be done already with an android phone using Android SMEStorage and the sky drive.

I do plan on swapping out my iPad 1 with a Windows 8 tablet though, but a the phone just doesn't offer anything new except a cool interface. Hardware wise, I do like the video camera (as long as it performs well as the simulation).
