The metro version of Google Chrome is available. You need to download and install the Dev channel. It installs both the desktop and the metro version. The Metro version looks just like a full screen desktop version. So far it seems to work OK. Chrome Release Channels - The Chromium Projects. This post is from Chrome Metro.

Did you install the DEV version 22.0.1207.1 dev-m? If you chose to make it your default browser when you install it does it automatically. Have a look in the start screen and see if it is there.

Yep it's the right version.
Oh, that's the problem: I didn't made it the default browser...

It's fixed and a tile is created in the start screen.

Thank you very much.

Since there are no real comments about Chrome Metro .. here goes.

Pros
1. It beats IE in the right click department in that it is still really a proper right click context menu
2. All my add-ons and extensions work.

Cons
1. When you have 2 metro apps onscreen for some reason all the tabs disappear and there is no access to settings because of this.
2. Unlike IE 10 you cannot pin websites to the start screen without first making a shortcut.

Con number 1 makes it untenable at this time for me so I just use the desktop version until Google release the full App after RTM

I agree with you on a few things, but

I kinda like the way the right click is working in the IE10. I don't like chrome as its just exactly the desktop app and not a streamlined app. Although it loads faster, I somehow expected something a'la IE10. I guess I am starting to like IE10.

is there a way to disable metro chrome forever? Whenever I press the internet shortcut on my keyboard, metro chrome pops up. But when i just click the shortcut on my desktop, it's normal.
