Why does the Favorites stop adding website?

My PC Windows 8.1 Internet Explorer stops adding website when I clicked Add to favorites…The previous saved websites are still inthe Favorites but the Favorites just do not accept more website. Do you know why the Favorites stop adding the website? Thank you.

I also have the same problem. It started a while ago, but cannot remember exactly when.
Also looking for a solution.

You could try resetting IE under Advanced tab, if that doesn't help, use sfc /scannow command from this tutorial:http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/3047-sfc-scannow-command-run-windows-8-a.html

I tried resetting and also running sfc /scannow, but the problem is still the same.
Anything else I could try?
