Hi all,,,,,,,,Hope you can help me here please,,,, the other night my pc would not boot and after a while it told me it had an error and gave me some options to start it.
Well I chose one and now its starting up ok but I have lost quite a few programs which I can install again and it also put some back that I have not had there since I bought it , like snapfish photos and hp games which I can easy delete, but the biggest disappointment I that I had to download and install windows live mail again.
That wasn't too bad but I had the password written down for it but it will not have it for some reason,,so,,is there any way I can find out the password it needs for my email address please.

Can't help with the password but you might consider, in the future, making a system image with Macrium Reflect to restore things.

It depends on the email provider. If it is Cox or Comcast, it is easy to contact their support and fix this, Godaddy, etc, too. If it is a free hotmail, Gmail, etc, if you set up a backup email contact it is not too hard to change password, just go the their website and look for a "forgot your password" link.
