Can't add Google as search engine in IE 11

hi.

In IE 11 on Windows 8.1, I can't add Google as (default or not) search engine in IE 11. When I click on "Add to Internet Explorer" in iegallery.com no dialog/pop-up comes up so I can't add it.

I have disabled the pop-up blocker of IE and disabled also privoxy that I use.

I had to run malware-bytes and adwcleaner, to clean my sister's laptop from minor malware (like binkiland), I don't know if it's related or not.

Is there some .reg file available to directly add to the registry Google search engine in IE 11 (desktop version) ??
Is there another way to add a search engine than iegallery.com (that does not work here), to IE search bar.

Thanks

Hi everyone,

This is my (working) solution:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchScopes\{045E0E8E-03DF-45D7-A725-63C70815808E}]
"DisplayName"="Google"
"OSDFileURL"="
http://www.iegallery.com/en-us/AddOns/DownloadAddOn?resourceId=813"
"FaviconURL"="
http://www.google.com/favicon.ico"
"ShowSearchSuggestions"=dword:00000001
"URL"="
http://www.google.com/search?q={searchTerms}&sourceid=ie7&rls=com.microsoft:{language}:{referrer:source}&ie={inputEncoding?}&oe={outputEncoding?}"
"SuggestionsURL"="
http://clients5.google.com/complete/search?q={searchTerms}&client=ie8&mw={ie:maxWidth}&sh={ie:sectionHeight}&rh={ie:rowHeight}&inputencoding={inputEncoding}&outputencoding={outputEncoding}"
"SortIndex"=dword:00000001

Logoff and login, and voila!

Please remember - it's a workaround!
