IE is dissapeared!

A friend of mine is in a position where his Internet Explorer on Win 8.1disappeared!
Don't know how, it's just GONE!

Tried everything to install it again, nothing works!

Any help out there?

Did the IE icon disappear from Desktop and Metro ? No sign of IE when Task Manager Processes open ?

Everything disappeared except the software in the program files!

Can't delete it!

Can't reinstall because a message comes up "You already have IE".

Defiantly some outside interference introduce by Google after google was deleted!

Did he try uninstalling and reinstalling from: Programs and features > Turn windows features on or off ?

If all fails, Refresh Win 8.1. Will not lose files.
