Hotmail Drafts don't appear in Mail App?

Hi,

I am struggling to get used to a new laptop running Windows 8.1 and will no doubt end up with a great many questions! However, for now, can someone please explain what is happening with my Draft emails?

If I log in to Hotmail using Internet Explorer, my mail folders are all there and include some draft emails I have saved.

However if I open the Mail App from the Start screen in Win 8.1 the Inbox etc appear to be displaying everything correctly but there is nothing in the Drafts folder. Can I get these drafts to display in this App?

Click folders in left pane and a slide out lets you choose what you want displayed by clicking a star.

My Goodness, thanks for the super quick reply! However, sadly it has not helped.

I can see the star icon you refer to and have clicked on it and it has changed from an outline to a solid white star but on clicking on Drafts it still says no messages.

I thought that perhaps the drafts have disappeared from the online Hotmail site but no, at the mail.live.com website they all show up as before.

Can you suggest anything else I can try please? Thanks,

I think I have found the answer! It seems that in order to Sync the Win 8.1 App and the online mail folders, one has to use Outlook.com.

I have heard of Outlook.com but never really understood what it is, so maybe it is time to grasp the nettle and learn about it
