Firefox Wont Operate

I switched my pc on this morning and began to browse. FF (35.0.1) has totally refused to open (blank screen). I click on something and get the Does Not Respond flash across the top.

I opened pale moon (same drivers) and it works as does IE11

Any thoughts gents? :huh:

Well, this is embarrassing.

Firefox is having trouble recovering your windows and tabs. This is usually caused by a recently opened web page.

You can try:

Removing one or more tabs that you think may be causing the problem
Starting an entirely new browsing session


makes no difference - same blank page

totally removed FF and rebooted - pc running perfectly but did get a malfunction message about a script in home page (nasa.gov) in FF before I removed it. Running this in pale moon, no problem so far.

Ran NASA site in pale moon, a 'little' bit slow, but worked perfectly and no script error notice.

The same thing happened with Pale Moon this morning, refused to run. Then I realised, deleted pale moon x 32; install pale moon x 64 and its perfect. They do not make a FF x 64 and say they have no intention of doing so, so it appears to conflict in a 64 system. Using Nightly, the 64 version of FF is no use, its been made for developers only and not public use. Mozilla state on their site it should not be used in our machines.

Pale Moon 64 is running now and very fast too - one question, I have to use the backspace to return PM to a previous screen, where is the 'back' switch in PM?

Up in the left side, left from address bar where it always was, at least on my PM.
