google chrome hangs frequently...................

Does a F5 refresh solve it temporarily?

Download Chrome > Uninstall old Chrome > Reboot > Install new Chrome. Reinstalling a program is usually quicker than trying to fix it. Duriing uninstallation don't save any settings. You can learn to export your bookmarks and import them to the new installation using this tutorial.

Right. I had the same problem a couple of years ago but I can't remember atm what it was. You've just got a bare-naked Chrome at the moment haven't you ...no add ons?

Edit: Remember now. It was having two instances of flashplayer running on the PC. Disable your flashplayer in Chrome and see if that sorts it out and also check to see Youtube still works with it disabled. Here's instructions:

i solved my problem by purchasing a brand new core i5 dell laptop and problem solved.............
