How can I stop a large incoming message on Live Mail?

Hi

I am running Windows Live Mail on Windows 8.

When I press send/receive it says there is a large message being downloaded/executed.

Although, it never comes through to my inbox.

Is there anyway that I can find out who is sending the message or to permanently stop it trying to come through - as it is blocking all other email incoming and outgoing.

Many thanks!

The easiest way I can think of is if your email is accessible via a web browser (eg outlook.com or gmail.com)

You can then access it via your browser and delete the large email from there

Hi Paul

I don't think I can access it from a browser - I also don't really know how I would do this.

I am not at all good at technical things!

Try this to get at the email
In Windows Live Mail highlight your inbox and then right hand click on it (see picture below)
Change the sync option to Headers only, this will show the emails but not download them and should allow you to delete the big email
After that change the option back to All Messages

I am hoping its going to be available online to view, who is it you get your email through (don't need email address just the provider)

I will then see if they have a site to view them

I just use Windows Live Mail version 2011 for my email. My server is provided by a company called Demon. Is this the information you need?

Yes I am. I have logged on the Demon site you posted - however I cannot see any options to access my mail? Just details to change my password etc.

I have never actually seen this before!

If it helps, this is what I keep getting when I press send/ receive - it keeps looking like this for ages until it times out.
