Hello everybody.
I can't load any microsoft account login page in any browser on my laptop (running windows 8.1). Whether it is outlook, one drive, microsoft support forums, etc. Each time I try to load the login page I get the following errors:
In firefox: The connection was reset
In IE: This page cannot be displayed
In chrome: This webpage is not available
It was working up until yesterday, then all of sudden in the middle of the afternoon I couldn't access any microsoft login page.
As far as I can tell, these are the only pages that can't load. MSN works fine, any microsoft site works fine (outside of the login part of course). All other sites I have tried work just fine.
However, I can access my email in the Mail app that comes standard in windows 8.1 as well as on my android phone. Furthermore, I don't think that it is an ISP problem as I can easily access those pages on an old desktop computer I have and on my phone. It seems to be an issue with my laptop specifically.
I have tried restarting the computer (multiple times) and clearing the cache and cookies (multiple times).
If I can't fix this, I'm probably going to reinstall windows, but I really would like to save myself all the trouble that comes with that, especially since it's just one page that I can't get to load.
I really need help figuring this out. Any help and input would be greatly appreciated.
