    Metro IE Vs. Desktop IE

    which do you think is better? which is more productive? please tell me.

    I think they're both just as productive, but certainly the app takes a lot of getting used to. I've always been used the normal IE, so I haven't moved over. But I think of them as the exact same, especially if you know the keyboard shortcuts to quickly move to different tabs.

    I prefer Metro IE because of the touch, the ease of sharing pages, and the Read mode.

    But sometimes you need the desktop IE because it's more compatible. But I use Firefox when I use a desktop browser because of the available plugins (though touch is terrible with FF).

Press Ctrl+Esc and you'll get the traditional desktop. And yes, you can install Windows 7 themes and gadgets with no problem.
