    IE not displaying websites correctly

When I surf using IE 11 under windows8, I routinely run into problems where sites are not displayed correctly. See attached, a yahoo page. Items overlap, or just flat out never show (blank areas)..

I've checked compatibility settings.. Is there anything else I can do to show these pages correctly? IE under Windows7 shows them correctly..

    Hello 3DPiper,

I know you said that you checked compatibility settings, but did you try using compatibility view on the site to see if it may display better afterwards?

Yes, I have compatibility view active for this site (
The problem persists and is very aggravating, it completely keeps me from reading pages (see pic)
could this be the an issue with a HiDPI screen?

That site below appears to be displaying fine for me in the desktop IE11.

You might see if completely resetting IE back to default may help.

I am also using IE11 in desktop mode under W8, but the yahoo movies page does not display correctly for me..

I'll try a reset and see if that fixes the problem

I would suggest something but will wait to see if the reset works or not.

I've never found in any use for Microsoft's compatibility view lists,
    Remove them and retest,
