Mail not working

Mail app is not responding when started. There's bar to the left with 'accounts' but nothing else. What do I do?

It's a beta OS. The mail app is definitely not finished. Try installing Windows Live Mail on the desktop.

Can you provide a little more information please. What type of account are you logging in with and what type of mail account are you trying to access?

It has been set for gmail.com account
