Hello.
Sorry for bad title, didn't know what to call it.

Sometimes when I view video clips on my browser I get this thing (see image) in the bottom left corner of the video. It is as if the thing is "buffering" or something. I don't know what it is or what it does, but I would like to get rid of it if possible.

In Firefox it's called an overlink.
You can set it's delay to virtually not appear.
Which browser do you use?

In Chrome it's considered a security feature to prevent 'link spoofing' so they don't give you the ability to 'hide' it.
In Firefox you can increase the link hover delay time to a point where it virtually doesn't show. It will, however, still show when a link is selected to load but you can make the 'status' transparent with a simple .css code.

Oh, that's too bad.

In most clips that thing acts normally, though. Showing for maybe 5 seconds and then fading away.
But in some clips it stays for the entire clip, being really annoying..

Do you know what the thing is called in Google Chrome?

Something like 'Link Hover Status Bar'. :)

(EDIT: I believe if you go full screen and don't take your mouse cursor off the page it won't disappear; I could be mistaken though!)
