I think my Mozilla Firefox is compromised in last 30 minutes after I clicked some website in Google Search Results and see this icon in address bar in Orange as show in image below...

Please help about how to remove this as I checked Add-Ons and Plugins for Firefox and found no stuff which looks suspicious...

I have just re installed FF (ver 29 I think) after a while and its excellent. I have malwarewbytes PRO installed and also ad block for FF, not seen any problems. I also have AVG Internet Security 2014. In view of the current 'scare' being broadcast all over of an imminent massive 'attack' I have been checking all my deterrents to make sure they are fully operational.

edit: scrap that compliment about FF. I close it down and it does not close down in background. So when I open something else, sorry FF has not closed down, restart your pc - erm - no I sodding well will NOT!

Back to Chrome ...............................

To be sure it isn't, download and run adware
Download-4-Free Software Downloads: AdwCleaner 3.211

Would not hurt to also download and run malwarebyes (Free)
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - Protect, Detect & Remove Malware From Your PC

Do a full scan with your AV software.

I have Norton Internet Security 2013 installed, updated the software and scanned full system... It found Trojan in Google Chrome but detected no virus or trojan or spyware in Mozilla Firefox... Can I use trusted software like Windows Defender to identify the issue? or security software from trusted vendor for Firefox security?

I would not trust Norton with anything, it seems to break systems more than anything according to a vast majority of users. I have tried it and it was heavy on resources and full of bloat ware, I quickly uninstalled it. If it works for you and you are satisfied, fine, If not use there removal tool to uninstall it. If you must use a 3rd party AV software, use Avast.

IMHO Windows Defender supplemented with Malwarebytes Pro is all you need.

I guess they will fix it soon. The 'already running' only shows up on a slow, old netbook here, on other pc's the latest FF has been behaving perfect, fast & stable.
