Solved incomming email alert

ok, is there anyway to set up an audible sound that lets me know if I've got email. and can I set it for just one email address but I would like to know when I've got incoming email. and can I can I use downloaded sounds for the computer? in this case I've down loaded star trek sounds.

I believe you can go into system sounds to change whether or not you get a mail notification, as shown:

This might tell you about custom sounds, see if it works for you: Sounds - Change - Windows 7 Help Forums - it requires a specific audio format (.wav).

I very much doubt you can change the sound scheme per email, address, etc.

Hopefully this points you in the right direction

I also tried that but it doesn't work for Gmail, notification shows but without the sound.
