Solved IE 11 is slow and tells me this page can not be displayed

IE 11 is slow and tells me this page can not be displayed after clicking on a link. after I click on the link again it usually opens up. sometimes it takes 2 or 3 clicks to open the page.

I have used Malware bytes, but have no malware. I think it started after May 5th. Did we get an update on May 6th that could have caused that?

I have issue with IE11 on my Windows 7 and it constantly crashing. On my Windows 8.1 it works well. Maybe something else that's causing it other than IE updates.

Downloaded and ran it, found a few things, but I still get the same thing : can not be displayed.

Anything else I can do?

you can install firefox browser and see if the same thing happens, this also will tell you if it is internet related or the browser

Latest IE update is v11.08 (KB2953522)

well, don't know what to say, but the problem is gone. I can click on any of my links and the page just pops in. no problem at all.
Maybe my ISP did something and now it is fixed.
