I'm using "cloud" version of Outlook, like Hotmail, (not the Office version). It seems like everything is hidden. I finally found the Print feature but would like to know where my Sent e-mails are being kept. The only time I can see what I sent is if I get a reply. Using Win 8.1

Outlook.com keeps everything on Microsoft's servers. Nothing is kept on your computer. BTW, there is no such thing as a Cloud version of Outlook. There is Outlook Cloud Outlook Cloud -- store/send email attachments via Cloud. But that has nothing to do with Microsoft.

Outlook.com is just hotmail.com revamped.

If you proffer the feel of a client side email application, and want to continue using Hotmail (cloud version of outlook, as you put it) then download microsoft windows live essentials 2012, uncheck everything except for "windows live mail" and install.
Enter your hotmail/live or outlook email and password, even your own non microsoft related emails, and go for it. It works perfectly fine in windows 8/8.1 and it craps all over OUTLOOKS online interface. It syncs perfectly with the online version (because they are exactly the same thing) and if you ever lose your PC, its all still there online.

The issue I found with the new Live Mail app it that is will only work with 1 email account rather than several account like it did in Win 7 This may not matter to the OP, but it is a big issue for me, well not really cause I've had Office Outlook since at least 2003 before that I think. What I found is that you can put in Like in my wife's all in one here 3 email account, but the program like the cloud will only send from her @msn.com account. Her POP account download to a community Inbox, I know that can be filtered to separate filters. but then will only send through the in my Case @msn. or @Hotmail. or @live.com or @outlook.com

I probably used incorrect terminology with my "cloud version" but what I was trying to do was NOT have it mistaken for the Office version which you refer to. I have Office 2007 in my laptop and Outlook works great. That's not my problem with the Outlook (Note; MS Office is not installed) that came with this computer. I only have one email address here and just want to know how to find/retrieve my SENT emails. Now I have just come back from a week away and all my Inbox emails from over 2 weeks ago are gone. It says go to Settings to see them. I can't find a link on the page for settings. This is getting more ridiculous by the minute. Why does MS do this?

So do you mean the mail app? If so, open it, then press :winkey: C and select setting and then accounts.

Then you can decide whether 2 weeks (the default) is set or you want everything to be downloaded.
