Can't log into some websites

Anybody else having trouble logging into some websites, I can't seem to get in using Win 8 and IE 10, I put in my username and PW and if I hit enter I just get the keyboard overflow ding bell and if I put in my username and PW and click the "sign in" button it just hangs, nothing ever happens, no error message, no timeout message, just nothing. The rest of the machine keeps running fine but no login is happening, and I can login fine from a Win 7 and Xp machines. Looks like it may have something to do with java, seems to only happen on java based login screens? I've loaded all the updates, all the java updates and the latest flash updates, but no joy yet. Could there be some security setting somewhere in Win8 or IE 10 that I need to tweak or something?

It appears the problem is associated with IE 10, I installed Firefox 11 and had no problem logging into the same website with Firefox, but it still crashes when I try to come in through IE 10.

Woah wait what!? Firefox 11? I didn't even know it was out yet Ima have to go check this out I am still on 10.0.2 here. Which by the way does work fine. I tossed IE 10 aside I have no desire to ever use IE again after version 7.

Yep loaded Firefox 11.0 yesterday, it's still in the beta channel but so far it's worked flawlessly.

I cannot sign into Redbox or my cell phone carrier account since getting Windows 8 Preview. I will even click the forgot password (which I didn't), I will get a new password but it will not work either. Any suggestions or anyone else experiencing this?
