IE Java Script Error

Hello everyone,
I am not sure if I can get help on this since this is regarding IE 8 on Windows XP but I don't want to be a member of another Windows Forum.

So my wifes grand mother calls me the other day saying that when she tries to go to www.outlook.com she gets
<body onload="Javascriptrd();"
and nothing else

I walked through it with her and we verified that she has the latest version of Java, that Java and scripting is enabled under the internet options. Still getting the same error, any ideas. I would like to really help her out.

Java has nothing to do with it.

From that I assume JavaScript is not active.

No, we went through the process and she said the error message is still popping up. Could this be IE8 maybe? I know that thing is getting old.
