Windows 8.1 compatibility view settings won't stick

    Hello all

    I'm using IE11 on Windows 8.1 Pro x64.
I'm manually adding to compatibility view settings and when I close IE and reopen it, the compatibility view settings list is empty.
Is there any way to add a website to compatibility view settings and that it will stick?
    Is it a known issue?

    Hello Nickle,

Double check to make sure that you are not setting this while in a InPrivate browsing IE11 session. Anything you do in InPrivate browsing will not be remembered after closing the window.

    Hope this helps,

    First, thank you very much.

I'm not using usually InPrivate mode but I do set to delete all cookies, temp, cache, history ect.
When I removed this option, the customized sites in the list stuck.
Now just wondering why but that's a whole other question

    Thanks again.

You're most welcome. I'm glad that was it.

If you created a shortcut while in InPrivate browsing, then it would always open in it. One possibility anyways.
