Hi everyone. first pardon me for my bad english and im not really understand computer things..
Im really desperate because of my weird issues.
i have my laptop asus N55SF for more than 2 years. but since 3 months ago im experiencing weird issues that suddenly happening and i cant find any solving.
here is what happened :
I can load all webpages. but for some website, the media in that website (such as picture, videos streaming, script) are not displaying. it just displaying plain text with blank white background without any media. some of site load the video player, but the video does not. for some website all the pictures in it are not displaying, just appear as cracked image (when file is missing or corrupted icon).
It only happen for some website. example steamcommunity.com and few other site that i dont remember. even in the steam client app, the content from that steam related is not displaying. such as friendlist avatar, other friend steam profile. even the in game dota 2 i cant view the content from news and store, and myfriendlist avatar still not showing.
i have report it to steam support, but they only says its because my adobe shockwave and flash not updated yet. i've already install the latest, and tried reinstall those adobe, even reset my pc (reinstall and delete everything and turn setting to default). but it still happening..
This is the screenshot : Untitled.jpg
For those who expert and understanding please give me some solution im begging you guys..:cry::cry:

Try this and see if it helps with the Steam Client..

Exit Steam

navigate to where your Steam files (games etc) are stored and open the config folder.

Delete the "htmlcache" and "cookies" folders.

If this issue is also occouring in the overlay browser , also delete the "overlayhtmlcache" and "overlaycookies" folders.

Re-Run Steam and see it has helped.

It may not help as it's happening in your browser also but we shall see.....baby steps.

Another possibility is it could be your ISP blocking content from the Steam servers....I have read reports from various support sites where everyone having this problem was on the same few ISPs.

It's worth a try , it could well be something miss-configured at the dorm router which is blocking your IP address from receiving the content.
