Windows 8.1 Mail App doesn't notify for folders

Hi to everyone, this is an awesome community! I've an issue with my Windows 8.1 Mail app: I've organized in folders almost all of the emails I regularly receive, but I can see notifications only for those miscellaneous emails which are not organized in any of my folder (so, they simply appear in the Inbox). I followed every single tutorial for similar issues, but any of them worked; and yes, I've selected to show notifications for every email in the Account options of the Mail app, but nothing changes. So, I wonder how to fix this problem and I ask you to help me, please.

Thank you for the attention.

Thank you, ectech, but as I said..

I've already done it, but it doesn't work.

The only other spot to enable notifications that I'm aware of is under Permissions.

If that doesn't give you the results your looking for I'm out of ideas.

Everything is ok under Permissions, and even under Notifications in the system options. I really don't know the reason why I have this issue, it is so since when I had Windows 8; I hoped it would have been resolved in Windows 8.1, but it still continues.

I don't use the mail app. But does it, possibly, have the same as Live mail "Message rules"? Yuou could organise the move in there.

Use several different computers during a day, so specs are irrelevant.
I use a Live account. And yes, the folders are organized through rules.

So there is no misunderstanding. I am referring to the Windows essentials LIve mail application, not a live account

I'm sorry but the first sentence was a reply to ectech, the second one to you. I don't use the Windows Essential Live mail, but the Mail App, and the folder organization works in a similar way, with "rules".

I went and tested the Mail App using every configuration possible to invoke notification's using folders. All attempts were unsuccessful. I believe the Mail App does not yet support such a feature. You could try using another application.

So it wasn't my issue but a lack from Microsoft, I understand! Thank you very much.

Notifications for folders are working!

Guys, just pin the folders you like to Start Screen and you will receive notifications. For example, you can pin "All Mail" folder and you will receive notifications for ALL emails received.

Thank you for the reply, Cosiac; I knew this "solution" but it would be a mess to create several tiles for every folder of my Mail, because I have not any "All Mail" folder. If you meant the Inbox, it will show only the un-sorted mails, exactly the opposite of what I need.

All Mail folder

I have "All Mail" folder in my Gmail account. All the messages received in my account are there, no matter in which folder they go after.

I use a Live account, and unfortunately I don't have that folder (I wonder why Microsoft doesn't think to the easiest things..).
