Solved How to attach pictures in WLM

I have Win 8.1 with WLM build 16.4.3508.0205. Before I (upgraded) to Win 8.1, I could send pictures in an e-mail as an attachment. Now when I do that it adds them to an album and the recipients has to down load them from SkyDive.
Is there any way to keep the pictures in the e-mail? I don't use SkyDive.

OK. I found part of the problem. I had a check in convert messages to photo email when adding pictures. Now it does not send to SKYDIVE, but puts them in a slide show. How can I get the pictures to show in the e-mail?

I have the same build. Click "email message" then click the paperclip to attach a file.

Thanks Peter2 for the reply. I do that but it still puts them as thumbnails for SlideShow. I want the full picture in the e-mail its self like Outlook Express use to do.

Click on 'insert' at top of ribbon and then select "Single Photo" and it will show it in the body. You can add multiple pictures one at a time.

Thanks Jim. So you can only do one at a time?

You can select multiple pictures but they get bunched next to each other so I normally do one at a time and can place them where I want on the page. Play with it and you will see.

@Phone man I learned another task. It works very well. Even the album showed one big photo with several thumbnails or smaller ones, if that s your preference.

I tried more than one photo and when doing a second, it covered the first . Did you drag the first to another place on the page then insert the next photo?

When the photo appears it has the small squares around the edge. Just hit Enter or your left mouse key and the curser will appear at the bottom right corner of the photo, then move the curser to where you want the next photo. This also allows you to enter text between photo's.
