"Googlopoly" is here Chrome most used Browser

Chrome has finally overtaken IE as the world's most used browser (in so far as these statistics are reliable).

Of course this browser is used on ALL devices and as Ms doesn't have an ANDROID version of IE one would expect IE to start dropping behind as it's only used on computers (and probably on Surface pro plus the 79 people and their 3 dogs who've actually got an RT tablet).

Actually the more I use Chrome the more I quite like it and it handles the Silverlight plugin on Windows 8.1 without any problems --IE11 with Windows 8.1 causes problems --IE says please update Silverlight but won't let you do it - saying latest version already installed even if you uninstall and start from scratch.


Nice one here for Chrome - although sime people might be getting a bit anxious over "Googlopoly" creeping everywhere.

Watching a program from SKY sports on The America's cup sailing -- doesn't work at all with IE11. Chrome - no probs.

Not a Chrome fan at all, FireFox is my poison since it's beginning. Google wants to be "original" all the time.

Chrome is good but I don't like that "Babylon" ridding on it's back

45% of all our site visitors use Chrome, 22% IE, 20% Firefox the stats are pretty much the same across all our sites.
