IE 10 has been working fine until the last week or so. Now when PC sleeps, then wakes, IE 10 becomes unresponsive. I need to kill It with Task Mgr, the reopen and fiddle for a while before it works as it should.

I thought maybe I could uninstall then reinstall it. But it doesn't show up on the installed programs list. I am running windows 8 - 64 bit.

Any ideas?

Thanks

IE doesn't appear on the installed programs list , it's actually listed as a windows feature.

If you go to the add/remove programs and choose 'Turn windows features on or off' you will see a checkbox against 'Internet Explorer 10' , untick and press OK and IE10 will be uninstalled , (you may need to reboot I'm not sure) , adding the tick back after will re-install.

You might want to research this carefully before proceeding. I tried to uninstall Internet Explorer from my laptop and really screwed it up. I had to completely reinstall Windows - not a pleasant experience. Good luck.
