Please Help Numpty !!

Good morning people Please help this numpty i have no idea what im doing and its taken me 4 attempts to register here Dont ask ! its been 6 hours of head scratching , threats of violence , temper tantrums and assaults and the victims only 12hrs old !!!!
Please help me before i smash this laptop to bits !!

I have no idea if its a windows 8 prob or in the new laptops settings issue so apologies in advance.
Problem - New laptop win8 toshiba 8g 1tb - no idea what that means , i got the wife to put mozilla on it as its what i can just about useand familiar with. When i download music to be placed into itunes , yes i managed that ! , when i return to itunes to play it all i get is "files cant be found and if it wants to locate it" ????? This only happens in mozilla but with Internet Explorer the files are there and itunes plays fine ???
Is it win8 not working with mozilla or more likely me being thick ?

Just a point of clarification - me being thick, not you. By mozilla, do you mean Mozilla Firefox from the Mozilla Project at mozilla.org?

(If so, I find it strange that you do not call it Firefox - by analogy it's like calling Microsoft Internet Explorer Microsoft or Google Chrome Google - but that's just me.) That's cleared that up.

If it is Firefox, the Orange Firefox tab in the top left of the browser's window brings up the menu, which says on the right options, and the submenu also has options, which if you click it brings up an options dialog box, which under the general tab has a lower section called Downloads.

It should say save files to [folder icon with blue down arrow] Downloads -if it says something else, that's the folder where your downloaded files have gone. Using the browse button, you can set it to wherever you want.

Yes i was meaning firefox by mozilla , told you im useless when it comes to pc's !!
I have looked at the tab in the top left corner of the screen but didnt want to alter anything as being honest i have little or no idea as to what most of it means I will attempt to try manipulate the settings to make it perform to my needs but i will probably be back for more help very very soon !!
I did say from the start it was probably my fault and its looking like i was right.
