    Missing search bar in IE10?

I can figure out how to make the search bar viewable in the desktop version of IE10.

Instead the searches are appearing in the address bar, which I don't want. I went to Tools > Manage add ons and selected google, but it didn't create a separate search bar.

Is that feature gone completely? If so that's annoying.

I don't see any way either and nothing shows up in a Google search. I guess that's what Firefox, Chrome, Seamonkey, etc. are for

Brink may have some magic that will do it though. Hopefully he'll stop by soon.

    Hello BRKING,

The search box has been removed since IE9.

Instead, searches are done in the address bar now. The tutorial below can show you more on how to search from the address bar in IE9 and IE10 to see if it may help more with it.
Otherwise, you could install an add-on or toolbar that has a separate search feature included with it.

    For example: Google Toolbar

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

So Bing can't compete with Google so they completely remove the search button.

You can still use Google to search from the address bar, by setting it as the Default Search Provider.

Microsoft did however remove the feature to create your own Search Providers from their website (which was damn annoying), however the following website came to the rescue by still allowing you to create your own Search Providers.

I don't want the address bar to show url's and word searches. That's annoying. Ill either add the google toolbar of just dump IE and use Firefox or something else.

It doesn't if you go to Internet Options > Content > Autocomplete Settings and untick them.
