using internet (flicking pages)

hi there
brought a new laptop with windows 8 and last night while on internet the pages kept flicking from one to another. it also done it when just browsing around windows 8. am I doing something wrong? seems ok today (fingers crossed)

Does your lappy have touch screen? If so, have you cleaned it? Sometimes my phone does this.

If it's not that, is it a touch pad? Settings there ok?

no not touch screen. not sure on settings???

Something was triggering this behavior. Could be the OS is working things out. So far so good today?

Just for grins, pointer to lower left corner and right click. A menu appears. Click on Device Manager. Does any yellow flags show in that?

Check Action Center. Any issues there? That's either on the desktop taskbar or type "Action Center" when on Start Screen.

ok will check that hopefully u are right about the OS working things out. seems fine today. thank you:D
