Solved Windows Live mail

My Windows Live Mail was working on the 21st February but on th 22nd February I got a message to say that it would not open becuase of either out of disc space or memory with the error 0x80041161. I googled this error and tried all the suggested remedies. I re-loaded Live Mail but I still get the error. I have spent about 5 hours trying to sort it out and I would welcome any other suggestions. My computer's diagnostics are not showing any problems.

You might have damaged system files. Try as followed:

1. Run sfc /scannow from the elevated command prompt. If there's an error and sfc will try to fix it and sometimes you need to re-run multiple times until you get a message: Windows did not find any integrity violation
2. If step 1 does not fix it, do a system restore prior to 2/22

Please report back if it is fixed, If not we'll try something else.

Thank you for your help. I tried sfc/scannow twice but yesterday the problem did not seem to be solved. However, today 24th Feb all is light and shiny and Live mail is working. If we lived nearer I would buy you a bottle champagne. I am so grateful for your help.
